This policy explains what information Casalta Management LLC (“Casalta,” “we,” “us”) collects through casaltastays.com, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Reservations and payments happen on our booking engine at booking.casaltastays.com, and owner statements are delivered through our owner portal at owner.casaltastays.com — both are operated for us by Guesty and are described below.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site, we receive the fields you complete — typically your name, email address, the nature of your inquiry, and, for owner inquiries, your property’s town or community and any details you choose to share about it. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government identifiers, or payment card details anywhere on this website.

Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server and security logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — to deliver the site and defend against abuse. If you accept analytics cookies, we also receive aggregate usage measurements described under Cookies below.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and this site is not directed to children.

How we use it

  • To answer your inquiry and follow up about a stay or about managing your property.
  • To provide, secure and troubleshoot the website.
  • To understand which pages and homes are useful, so we can improve them.
  • To meet legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell or share your personal information for money, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run advertising cookies or ad-tech pixels on this site.

Service providers

We keep the list short on purpose. Each provider below processes information only to perform its function for us:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery and security filtering; processes request metadata and IP addresses.
  • Web3Forms — receives contact and owner-inquiry form submissions and relays them to our inbox.
  • Google Workspace — our business email; inquiries you send us are stored in our Casalta mailbox.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate website usage measurement, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. IP anonymization is enabled.
  • Guesty — operates our booking engine and owner portal on the booking. and owner. subdomains, including reservation records and guest communication.
  • Stripe, via GuestyPay — processes card payments made on the booking engine. Casalta does not store full card numbers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies until you choose. On your first visit we show a banner with anAccept and a Decline option, and analytics stay switched off until you accept. Google Consent Mode is set to deny analytics and advertising storage by default. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we do not have to ask again; you can change it any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing site data in your browser. Declining does not limit any part of the site.

The booking engine and owner portal are separate systems and set their own cookies necessary to hold a reservation and keep you signed in.

Retention

Inquiry emails are retained in our business mailbox for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy our recordkeeping obligations, then deleted on a routine schedule. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard property setting. Server and security logs are short-lived.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Tennessee and California — have these rights by statute, and we extend the same handling to everyone who asks. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. Email[email protected] and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to inquiry data to the Casalta team members who need it, and we rely on the security programs of the providers listed above for the systems they operate.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to third-party sites, including our booking engine, our owner portal, and listing platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the page for a reasonable period.
